Jason Enos, owner of Brack Mountain Wine Company and Enos Vineyards, is a native of California, and lives in one of California’s most important wine regions, the Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County.
Jason’s interest in wine spans his entire adult life. After studying enology at university, he launched into an entrepreneurial career in the food and restaurant business, working for Lee and Bob Bassian to help chefs in Northern California source the best ingredients for their cuisine. For more than 8 years he learned firsthand about the importance of pairing high quality, fresh ingredients with just the right wines. His work brought him in direct contact with the growers and vintners of California’s most fabled wine regions: Napa Valley, Sonoma, Mendocino and the Central Coast.
His career path ultimately led him into a successful career in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he helped transform a small startup technology company into an industry leader. Jason’s success in technology was a means to an end, opening the door to realizing his dream: To return to his roots in food and wine, and to produce outstanding wines from one of the great California AVA’s.
With the acquisition in 2004 of an 8-acre estate in the hills overlooking the Dry Creek Valley outside of Healdsburg, California, the dream was realized. With a heart for wine and food, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a mindset to innovate, Jason founded Brack Mountain Wine Company, a next-generation wine company serving restaurants & fine wine shops through a new and truly unique approach.
Jason lives in Healdsburg, California with wife Samantha, children Juliana & Matias, and dogs Sully and Boo.
